Description
The legal framework governing submarine cables is fragmented and multi-layered, as the relevant legislation is incomplete and spread across numerous sources at international, European and national levels. The aim of the research project is to examine the regulatory gaps in the sector and to develop proposals for improving the legislation with a view to introducing mechanisms for the protection of submarine cables.
