Description
The program lies at the intersection of Information Systems and Digital Transformation, with the aim of studying the development of AI-augmented ecosystems that extend existing models (digital platform ecosystems, innovation ecosystems) by incorporating the distinctive properties of information systems. Building on the study of AI applications (in particular, GenAI), the research will explore how their diffusion reshapes the organizational architectures of digital ecosystems and the logics of value creation, taking into account the presence of regulatory constraints. The empirical approach will combine longitudinal case studies, surveys, and cross-sectoral analysis, with outputs targeted at top journals and conferences in the field of Information Systems.
