Description

The role is aimed at conducting research into the hydrological cycle in the Mediterranean basin, with a particular focus on processes related to snow dynamics and groundwater recharge. The research involves the integrated use of Earth observation (EO) data, appropriately downscaled meteorological data from climate reanalysis, and hydrological and snow cover models in order to reconstruct the spatial and temporal distribution of snow cover and estimate groundwater recharge processes.

Titles and interview. Candidates who achieve a score of at least 50/70 will be admitted to the interview. Holders of a PhD as specified in Article 3 of the call for applications, obtained no more than six years ago. Candidates holding a qualification obtained abroad are admitted to the selection process subject to conditions; should they pass the selection process, successful candidates are required to submit an application for recognition (equivalence) of their foreign qualification to the Ministry of University and Research within 15 days of the publication of the final ranking, failing which they will be excluded from the selection process.The Examination Board has a total of 100 points, allocated as follows:30 points project proposal20 points for the scientific and professional curriculum;20 points for selected publications;30 points for the examination and interview.Citizens of non-European Union countries may be signed the contract only if they hold a residence permit and subject to the submission of recognition of the PhD obtained abroad.
