Description

This project, funded by FIS 3, aims to unravel the mechanisms governing Wolbachia–host interactions in mosquitoes, focusing on both native and artificially established infections. By addressing key gaps in our understanding of the molecular and ecological factors shaping this symbiosis, the project will advance fundamental symbiosis research whilerefining Wolbachia-based vector control strategies for sustainable mosquito management
