Description

Research program in the field of internal medicine aimed at the study, diagnosis, and treatment of chronic immune-mediated diseases, with an integrated precision medicine approach. The activity includes the design of observational and interventional clinical studies, patient recruitment and follow-up, as well as data analysis for the identification of biomarkers useful for patient stratification and therapy personalization. In accordance with Article 16(5) of the call for applications, teaching and training activities are also envisaged in the context of palliative care, with a focus on the comprehensive management of complex patients and quality of life.

The educational qualification has to concern the research theme. Candidates whom, on the date of expiry of the deadline for submitting applications for admission to the selection, are enrolled in the final year of a PhD course or a medical specialization course, provided that they are due to graduate within six months of the date of publication of the selection notice on the University's official notice board, may also take part in the selection process.
