Description
The contractor will be involved in the following research activities:1. Developing decades-long climatologies for natural forested sites globally. Testing and developing new drought indicators. Applying advanced tools, including AI, to model forest vegetation response to future climatic scenarios.2. Develop and apply remote sensing methodologies to reconstruct green water and carbon fluxes and, more in general, forest vegetation response to climate globally during the past decades.3. Understanding and improving the interpretation of remote sensing-based models for forest vegetation response to climate, particularly in regions with sparse observations.
