Description
The research activity concerns the rigorous study of kinetic limits for many-particle systems with col-lisional dynamics via stochastic models approxi-mating kinetic equations. In particular, the project aims to analyze the phenomenon of propagation of chaos, as well as macroscopic correlations and fluctuations, using analytical and probabilistic methods, possibly complemented by numerical simulations supporting the theoretical results.
