Description
In recent years, the rapid growth of complex and structured data has created a strong demand for statistical and machine learning methods that are fast, robust, and scalable. This project focuses on the development of advanced Bayesian techniques based on Gaussian Processes and Bayesian Neural Networks, with particular attention to robustness against adversarial contamination and computational scalability. The research involves the theoretical study of these models, the extension of existing methodologies, and the design of efficient algorithms for inference and simulations in high-dimensional and nonparametric settings. The candidate will collaborate with researchers at the Center, participate in departmental seminars, and contribute to the dissemination of results through scientific publications and international conferences. Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are also required.
