The research contract holder will study the properties of renormalization group flows, with a focus on conformal field theories. The project's objective is to obtain new results on quantum field theories by developing new approaches to study renormalization group flows and their fixed points. Defective and non-unitary theories will also be studied. The candidate must submit a project proposal based on the following elements: perturbative approaches to renormalization group flows and conformal field theories; study of non-unitary theories in a non-integer number of dimensions; study of defected theories. The research program's related functions and activities will include: analytical and/or numerical study of quantum field theories; writing articles; and participation in international conferences and collaborations.
