Description

The project addresses a core gap in current debates on intergenerational equity: how to justify intergenerational obligations under conditions of structural inequality and asymmetry. It aims to bridge the normative framework with WELFAIR's interdisciplinary and policy-oriented activities.Proposal Requirements:Theoretical Approach: Critically engage with reciprocity-based theories of justice, evaluating their limits and potential, and integrate them with the capabilities approach.Priorities: Combine rigorous theoretical reconstruction with original normative arguments.Key Focus: Demonstrate awareness of core distinctions in intergenerational justice (e.g., overlapping vs. non-overlapping generations) and show relevance for addressing structural vulnerability in contemporary welfare systems.
