Description
The research activities to be carried out will include field floristic and vegetation surveys, plant species identification, and sampling along environmental gradients. The selected individuals will be responsible for implementing sampling protocols aimed at assessing the relationships between environmental parameters and plant community structure. Measurements of plant functional traits, including leaf and root traits, will be performed in the laboratory. The selected individuals will also be able to complement fieldwork with the analysis of existing data and available datasets, including data from secondary sources and literature, in order to initiate analyses and scientific production early in parallel with the collection of new data. Furthermore, they will be required to manage, analyse, and interpret data using statistical software, particularly R, and participate in the writing and submission of scientific articles
