Description
The research programme focuses on the development of innovative models and territorial predictive analytics applied to cultural and environmental heritage, emerging risks, and participatory digital platforms based on GIS technologies. The research activity, through the interpretation of historical and contemporary data, the use of open-source software for the georeferencing of historical cartography and aerial photogrammetric images, photogrammetric processing, and the production of 3D models and Digital Elevation Models, will focus on the identification and analysis of unexplored or emerging risks (emerging cultural risks) affecting socio-cultural heritage and territorial systems, with particular attention to indicators and related dynamics of social, cultural, and urban vulnerability.
