Description

PEACE is an innovative research project aimed at developing and testing a precision psychology approach for children exposed to humanitarian crises. By combining individual participant data network meta-analyses, machine learning techniques, and a randomized controlled trial, the project seeks to identify which mental health and psychosocial support interventions are most effective for specific profiles of children. The ultimate goal is to improve treatment outcomes, reduce the risk of ineffective interventions, and advance personalized mental health care in global humanitarian settings.

Selection process

The competition will be carried out by an evaluation of titles and examination by means of an interview. For admission to the selection process referred to in Art. 1, potential candidates must fulfil the following requirements:a) Title of Phd in Clinical Psychology, Dynamic Psychology, or mental health-related fields, namely to be enrolled in the third year of doctoral studies, as long as the achievement of the qualification is planned within the six months following the date of publication of the announcement for application;b) Possession of a curriculum suitable for assisting in carrying out research activities;c) Knowledge of the following foreign language: English;d) For the foreign citizens: knowledge of the Italian language C2;e) Additional requirements: professional experience abroad, particularly in low- and middle-income settings or contexts affected by humanitarian crises; research experience at international research centers focusing on systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and randomized studies.
