Ontology-based access to Temporal and Graph Data (OnTeGra) + Ontology-mediated query answering

The researcher will investigate foundations of knowledge representation and data management, with a particular focus on ontology-mediated querying, explainability, and responsibility analysis in knowledge-based systems.The research will address the computational properties of reasoning and query answering techniques, contributing to thedevelopment of scalable and trustworthy AI methods.Additional research activities in the context of other research projects on similar topics may be defined in due course with the mutual agreement between research contract holder and supervisor. If the supervision of this activity taking place within another project is done in detail by a different professor/researcher, the main supervisor has to explicitly countersign the part of the report regarding the activity on additional research projects.
