CULTSENSE FOOD - Exploring global food perception: Cross-cultural insights in sensory description and preference

The CULTSENSE-FOOD project aims to develop and implement a standardized sensory methodology to enrich the PTFI – Periodic Table of Food Initiative (https://foodperiodictable.org/) global platform on food composition with harmonized data on the sensory and hedonic perception of foods. The project's objective is to help improve food culture and promote global efforts toward healthier and more sustainable diets.The project involves collaboration with two international laboratories, located on two non-European continents, which will be selected during the first phase of the project's implementation.
