4/2026/CONTRATTO DI RICERCA - Optical time and frequency metrology for the redefinition of the second

The research contract is part of the European project 25IEM09 Arcsecond, coordinated by INRIM, supporting the international roadmap towards an optical redefinition of the SI second. The activities will focus on optical time and frequency metrology, the development and validation of high-accuracy optical frequency standards, local and international comparisons between optical clocks using optical fibre links or transportable standards, data analysis and uncertainty evaluation, as well as support to the preparation of regular contributions to the international timescales.
