Numerical methods for strongly coupled quantum field theories
The project aims to obtain new results in quantum field theories by developing novel numerical approaches, with a particular focus on Hamiltonian methods. Candidates must submit a project proposal addressing the following elements: numerical approaches to strongly coupled quantum field theories; the study of field theories via the Hamiltonian truncation method; the study of three-dimensional conformal field theories using the fuzzy sphere method; and the numerical study of non-unitary theories. The duties and activities associated with the research program will include: numerical studies of quantum field theories; writing research papers; and participating in conferences and international collaborations.
