Teaching activities concern chemistry and environmental chemistry subjects within the SSD CHEM-06/A in bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree programmes offered by the Politecnico di Bari. With reference to the general scientific interests and the research activities carried out at the institution, the open position is reserved for candidates with proven and recognised scientific experience and expertise, as demonstrated by an adequate number of publications in international journals, in topics consistent with the scope of the SSD CHEM-06/A, with particular reference to one or more of the following areas: metabolomic studies on plants and foods; analysis of agri-food products; nuclear magnetic resonance and/or mass spectrometry analyses using targeted and/or non-targeted approaches; food chemistry; production, processing and preservation of agri-food products, including through the introduction of IoT technologies; development of systems for field diagnostics in plant pathology
