Computational Intelligence
Scientific-Disciplinary Group
01 – Mathematics And Informatics
Description
The main objective of the PhD course in Computational Intelligence is to train future research and innovation players in the field of theory, design and implementation of intelligent computing systems based on approximate reasoning, evolutionary optimization and machine learning, using both classical and quantum computational approaches. Ph.D. students will be trained by considering 1) mathematical and statistical methods through which the basic formalisms for modeling and validation of computational intelligence algorithms are described, 2) physical methodologies and techniques related to the architectures of classical and quantum computational systems for computational intelligence,
