PhD Call

The selection - splitted into 4 Research areas (see art. 1 of the call) - is necessary in order to assess the applicant’s knowledge and research aptitude in the scientific areas of the PhD Programme.The selection is made by the Admissions Committee on the basis of evaluation of the applicant’s qualifications according to art. 3 of the call.The Admissions Committee may contact the applicant for an in-depth interview or a video-interview concerning the material submitted. This interview will not entail additional points.The Admissions Committee will have 100 points. Applicants obtaining a minimum score of 70/100 will be short-listed.The application form must be completed online and successfully submitted by 4:00 PM Italian time on May 15th 2026. Applications for PhD positions are accepted from applicants, regardless of gender, age and nationality, who hold an Italian “Laurea Magistrale”, according to the DM no. 270 of 22.10.2004 and subsequent amendments, or an equivalent Italian academic degree or an equivalent foreign academic degree (Master’s degree), recognized as equivalent by the Admissions Committee. Applications are also accepted from students expecting to obtain the necessary degree by October 31, 2026.
