Selection for admission to the 42nd cycle (a.y. 2026/27) of the PhD Programme in Comparative and European Legal Studies at the University of Trento.Places: n. 6Scholarships: n. 6, funded as follows:- n. 5 scholarship funded by the University of Trento;- n. 1 scholarship funded by the by the Faculty of Law of the University of Trento on the topic “Deviance and new forms of addiction of minors in the digital society: criminological and legal aspects”.

Admission to the Course is by a selection procedure, based on:- an evaluation of the research proposal according to art. 4, paragraph 9 of the call;- knowledge of any additional foreign languages as per the optional documentation attached according to art. 4, paragraph 9 of the announcement;- an interview to assess the knowledge, previous research experience and motivation of the candidate. It may concern both the research project presented or the legal concepts and institutes relating to it.The interview may take place in one of two modalities (at the candidate's choice):a) at the University of Trento.b) by videoconference by using audio-video connection devices that allow the correct identification of the participants (by webcam) and the carrying out of the interview in public. Applications for admission to the PhD Programme described in the previous article, are accepted from candidates, regardless of nationality, who hold an Italian “Laurea Magistrale” (Master’s Degree) according to Ministerial Decree no. 270 of 22 October 2004, or a university degree awarded under the previous regulations, or a second level degree awarded by an Italian “AFAM” Institute (Artistic and Musical Higher Education), or an equivalent degree qualification gained abroad at an officially recognized academic institution and considered suitable by the Admission Committee.Applications are also accepted from candidates who expect to obtain their degree/equivalent qualification abroad, by July 15th, 2026. In this case, the candidate’s admission to the course will be subject to confirmation.
