Description
The PhD Programme in Literature Languages and Arts includes three curricula: Philology and Literature; Language and Translation; Visual Arts, Media and Performing Arts. The specificity of the research fields will favour the acquisition of high-level academic skills that are crucial for scholars engaged in traditional literary studies (edition of texts, digitalization of traditionally inaccessible "classics", analysis of unexplored cultural areas, work in Italian and European libraries). It will also ensure the training of professionals in human sciences, with high profile positions that are essential in Schools, Universities, public and private bodies dealing with cultural heritage, as well as European research centers, foundations, or theaters where there is a growing demand for Modern Humanities and digital skills.
