Description
The Ph.D. program aims to provide the indispensable tools for the vision and experimental research in the fields of metabolism, and aging, including the concept of longevity, regenerative medicine and cancer metabolism. The PhD program therefore aims to enhance the perspectives opened by the continuous progress in the field of molecular and cellular biology and genomics, combining at the same time the expertise gained by professors in the field of the study of microbiota and diet alterations, intestinal diseases, complications arising in old age and oncological pathologies. The Ph.D program also aims to spur research and reflection on bioethical and deontological issues that aging raises, in a broad perspective of social medicine.
