Description
This multidisciplinary and translational PhD program in Neuroscience leverages the diverse expertise of the Department of Biomedicine, Translation and Neurosciences. The curriculum is structured into two tracks: Basic Sciences and Clinical Sciences, both aimed at exploring the continuous advancements in the field.Research activities are highly comprehensive, covering:Molecular and Cellular Basis: Biochemistry, molecular biology of neurons, and the neurobiology of adaptive processes.Physiology and Pathology: Neurophysiopathology, disease modeling (anatomic-functional and molecular), and the study of neurodegenerative disorders.Advanced Methodologies: Functional neuroimaging, cognitive and social neuroscience.Applied Sciences: Regenerative and rehabilitative medicine.The program bridges fundamental research with clinical application, fostering a deep understanding of nervous system plasticity and innovative treatments.
