Description
The PhD Programme in Political and Social Sciences for Security and Development (SPSSS), offered by the Department of Political Sciences at the University of Bari Aldo Moro, addresses the growing need for researchers, experts and policy-makers capable of engaging with the complex challenges of security, social inclusion, innovation and development in contemporary societies. The Programme provides advanced theoretical and empirical training, structured around three thematic clusters: Politics, Institutions and Rights; Social Policies and Inclusion; and Labour, Development and Innovation. Graduates will be equipped to conduct original research and to contribute to public policy, international cooperation and socio-economic transformation in academic institutions, public administration, NGOs and international organisations.
