Description
The PhD Course aims to train researchers in the field of tissues, organs and cellular transplantation. The specialties involved will guarantee a complete experimental and clinical training, from the molecular biology and the study of the organ damage to the therapeutic applications of the cellular, tissues and organs transplantation and to their management pre and post grafting. Moreover, the training program will be oriented to provide the theoretical and practical basis of the biotechnologies applied to the transplantation of human, animal artificial tissues and cells. The PhD students will be involved in the research activities of the Department of Emergency and Organ Transplantation and the associated Departments. The research activity will be characterized for its translational approach, based also on the involvement of the veterinary group, which gives the possibility to create experimental animal models in the respect of the animal welfare and the national law.
