Europe today faces environmental, economic and social challenges of unprecedented scale and urgency. To achieve the sustainability goals for 2030 and pave the way for the EU 2050 climate neutrality goals, an acceleration of knowledge and a transformation of the economy and society is necessary that take into account the alarming environmental state of the planet, the impact increasing climate change and unsustainable use of natural resources.The PhD in Science and Engineering for the Environment and Sustainability aims to train professionals capable of operating in the research, industry, private companies and public administration sectors with a holistic and multidisciplinary approach.
