Description
Delivered in both Italian and English languages, the Doctoral Programme pursues to train a modern and versatile legal scholar, focusing on the relations between legal systems within the field of environmental law, with specific reference to the current environmental and energy transitions’ challenges (introduced in the EU through the Green Deal, and the PNRR in Italy). The PhD Course will focus on multilevel environmental policies, with reference to the international and supranational spaces (e.g. the European Union). Specifically, Courses address domestic implementation of constitutional provisions devoted to the environment, and climate change-related activities. Under a comparative methodology, general trends in environmental and climate change legislation will be monitored and analysed; special emphasis is placed on the environmental and energy transitions’ issues, as well as on their theoretical and practical impacts.
