Description
The course was established with the aim of enhancing translation research, which has long characterized several paths of study at the University for Foreigners of Siena and its two partner universities, with a particular focus on: the practice of literary translation (including critical editions with commentary); the editorial and non-fiction fields; foreign literature translated in Italy and Italian literature translated abroad; the poetics of authors and translators; and the linguistic, philosophical, textual, socio-cultural, and historical aspects of translation processes.
