The PhD Programme aims at developing students’ skills for advanced activities both in research and high-profile professions. The PhD training combines a critical and interdisciplinary approach to language and literature with a theoretical, descriptive, educational, historical, philological and historical perspective.a) a specific interest in developing theoretical, sociolinguistic and reconstructive models of the linguistic and cultural contact and interaction;b) a specific interest in developing a synchronic and diachronic analysis of the Italian language and its different varieties, from a perspective that integrates linguistic data with the outcomes of a philological and critical analysis of literary texts.The Programme is articulated in two curricula:1) Linguistics and Didactics of Italian as a Foreign Language;2) Italian Literature, Italian Linguistics, Philology of Italian Literature, Modern History.
