The University of Pisa has published (by Rectoral Decree No. 989 dated 10 July 2026) the call for applications for admission to PhD programmes – 42nd cycle – Call B, with administrative headquarters at the University of Pisa, for the academic year 2026/2027.The doctoral programmes will begin on 1 November 2026.A total of 205 positions are available, distributed as follows:- 188 positions with scholarship (PhD scholarships have a duration of three years)- 8 reserved positions for applicants holding a formal employment contract- 6 reserved positions for holders of research grants.- 3 position for apprenticeship contract for higher educationApplications must be submitted exclusively online by 1:00 p.m. (CEST) on 10 august 2026, via the University of Pisa’s Alice portal: https://www.studenti.unipi.it.
