Description

The research program, performed within the framework of the European project HORIZON-CL5-2023-D2-01-02 RENOVATE - A circular and chemistry-neutral approach for recycling and recovery of battery waste feeds, is mainly aimed to develop sustainable and efficient methods for the recovery of polymeric materials from spent batteries and reuse them in a circular production process. In particular, new methodologies will be developed in order to recover the plastics of separators and binders in the cathode compartment.
