Description

The research activity focuses on the design, development, and validation of biomimetic fluidic models, both numerical and physical, based on finite element modelling, bioreactor systems, organ-on-a-chip technologies, biofabrication methods, and 3D printing.These models and devices will incorporate sensors and biological components to investigate and modulate pathophysiological mechanisms occurring at fluid–tissue interfaces, including multi-organ interactions.
