Description
The proposed activity focuses on the development of new hypergolic liquid fuels for reliable ignition with high-test peroxide. The work will explore innovative catalytic additives and amine-based blends, with systematic characterization of their physical, chemical, and combustion properties. Particular attention will be given to fuel stability, assessed through targeted ageing tests, and to ignition delay measurements under controlled operating conditions. The project will also include the design and experimental evaluation of injectors specifically tailored to the newly developed formulations, with analysis of combustion behavior, stability, and propulsive performance.
