Description
This research grant aims to develop a reusable workflow for the digitisation and FAIR-ification of analogue oral history archives at the European level, together with the creation of a dataset based on a unique corpus of interviews on consumer culture in Italy during the second half of the twentieth century.The research fellow will be required to provide technical support to domain experts and to work in collaboration with internal and external institutions, addressing the following tasks: assessment of the FAIR compliance of the workflow; development of a cross-domain metadata model; identification and conceptualisation of semantic elements potentially suitable for modelling; evaluation of the digitisation of audio tapes and paper-based transcription materials; and the development of a web application to enable public access to and exploration of the dataset.
