Description
-Classification and analysis of ancient bone remains; extraction of DNA from these remains; and creation of genomic libraries, based on up-to-date protocols from the international scientific literature. This work will be carried out at the DBB ancient DNA laboratory.-NGS sequencing of ancient genomes on Illumina platforms.-Bioinformatic analyses of genomic data by using software for population genomics and archaeogenomics, as well as the development and run of specific pipelines.-Preparation of genomic databases.-Comparative analyses of genomic, archaeological, anthropological and isotopic data.-Drafting of scientific papers and conference communications concerning the obtained and analysed data.
