Description
The proposed research project aims to develop and validate advanced simulation and virtual reality environments applied to the aeronautical sector, with particular attention to training, design, and operational assessment. The research will focus on the integration of advanced simulation modules with immersive VR systems for the creation of realistic operational scenarios. A specific emphasis will be placed on the automation of aeronautical systems, analyzing their behaviour and interaction within complex virtual environments. Solutions to improve human–machine interaction and operators’ situational awareness will be investigated. The project will include experimental validation through user testing. The final objective is to enhance safety, efficiency, and cost reduction in aeronautical processes.
