The project aims to validate on real samples an innovative genetic panel (4,849 SNPs) developed to infer distant kinship, integrating DNA analysis and machine learning. After testing on simulated genotypes, it will be applied to saliva swabs with known relationships to enable forensic identification of missing persons and unidentified remains
