Description

Supply Chain Finance aims to improve working capital management within supply chains and requires the collaboration of multiple diverse actors: buyers, suppliers, financial providers, technology providers, information providers, trade credit insurance, etc. Recently, digital platforms have been developed to support the interaction of all these actors, thus creating ecosystems of companies. The research project will investigate how these ecosystems can be designed, orchestrated and governed, to understand the different roles that the actors can play, the governance mechanisms, the incentives for participating, and how value can be created. The study will investigate the different supply chain finance solutions offered by such ecosystems and how they can be combined, focusing in particular on innovative ones.
