Description

In Emilia-Romagna, recent years have seen a progressive decline in pear cultivation,with a drastic reduction in the cultivated area and a collapse in production. Amongthe main causes are the damage and difficulties in the management of somephytophagous pests (brown marmorated stink bug, psyllids and Tingidae) and somediseases (brown spot in primis), in addition to the direct and indirect consequencesof climate change. This project aims to provide strategies and protocols to protectpear trees from the main pests, using appropriate combinations of corroboratingproducts and traps. (omissis)
