Description

Research activities are carried out within the CERERE project to support the University of Calabria in developing AI-based prototypes for responsible decision support in agrifood supply chains.The work includes: analyzing decision-making processes to identify criticalities, trade-offs, and vulnerabilities; defining functional, ethical, and socio-technical requirements aligned with Trustworthy and human-centered AI; designing and developing AI models and prototypes for strategic, tactical, and operational decisions (e.g., risk management, resilience, planning, resource allocation) through integration of heterogeneous data; experimentally validating solutions via case studies and pilot scenarios, assessing their impact on decision quality and stakeholder acceptance; examining organizational, ethical, and governance implications; and disseminating results through publications, reports, scientific events, and technology transfer activities.
