Description
Analysis, development, and experimental testing of autonomous navigation strategies for multirotor aerial robotic platforms deployed in industrial safety monitoring scenarios. The activity aims to design navigation and control solutions enabling the drone to automatically activate upon alerts of potential critical conditions issued by monitoring systems, safely reach the areas of interest, and maintain stable positions for visual inspection. In addition to implementing the proposed solutions, the activities include experimental validation in representative scenarios, both in simulation and on real platforms.
