Description
The research activity is aimed at the development and implementation of atmospheric dispersion models to assess the olfactory impact generated by industrial plants. The project includes field monitoring activities focused on the characterization of odorous sources and the modeling of their associated impacts, through the integration of meteorological, climatic, and territorial data. The modeling activities will enable the simulation of odor dispersion in the atmosphere and the analysis of effects on the surrounding area, providing technical and scientific support for spatial planning and for the definition of strategies to mitigate odorous emissions.
