Description

The selected candidate will develop advanced optical techniques for measuring and controlling ultracold potassium-rubidium mixtures with tunable interspecies interactions. Specifically, the candidate will create repulsive optical potentials, such as movable barriers and defects, to induce superfluid currents and topological excitations. The developed optical setup will enable the investigation of the mixture’s dynamical properties across interaction regimes, from quantum droplets to core-shell superfluid structures.
