Description
The activity will deal with the production of analysis ready vegetation datasets from SAR observations from Sentinel-1 C-band and SAOCOM L-band. In particular, SAOCOM L-band observations will be investigated in preparation for upcoming L-band missions and derived products compared with existing dataset for the retrieval of vegetation phenology information. The research activity is part of the EO4VegetationDrought project, where the goal is to bring together multi-frequency Earth Observation datasets and laser scanning with high quality in situ data to improve vegetation monitoring at large scale from satellite observations.
