Description
The research programme focuses on the study of spatial ecology in lacertid lizards, with particular reference to Podarcis raffonei, within the framework of the conservation activities foreseen by the LIFE EOLIZARD project. The appointed researcher will be involved in the development, implementation, and analysis of passive monitoring systems based on miniaturized sensors.The main activities will include:the design and calibration of recording devices for field use;the collection and management of spatial and behavioural data from marked individuals;data analysis using statistical tools and spatial ecology models;the preparation of scientific reports and collaboration in the drafting of publications and project deliverables.
