Description
The activity will focus on the study and implementation of advanced and innovative methodologies for the design of unconventional antenna arrays based on the concepts such as modular tiling, irregular clustering, and sparsening/thinning, as well as on their application in radar and telecommunications scenarios. The techniques will be developed within the System-by-Design paradigm and will rely on the integration of single- and multi-objective evolutionary algorithms, together with innovative methodological approaches for the clustering/tiling/thinning/sparsening of complex apertures.
