Study aimed at developing innovative hydrologic and hydraulic models to assess the effects of extreme flood events in the Zena Valley (Bologna) and to facilitate the identification – by the competent authorities – of possible structural and non-structural measures required to achieve an adequate level of hydraulic and geologic safety throughout the valley. The overall objective is to develop and validate innovative hydrologic and hydraulic methodologies aimed at supporting the identification of the most appropriate measures to ensure an adequate level of hydraulic and geologic safety throughout the Zena Valley (Bologna).
