Description
The successful candidate will join the Horizon Europe project ProTest, contributing to its research objectives through theoretical, empirical, and interdisciplinary analysis of protest mobilisation and democratic quality in comparative perspective. They will collect original data via semi-structured interviews and focus groups with civil society actors and policy-makers, and analyse interviews, focus groups, media, and legislative/policy documents, primarily on the Italian case. The candidate will also contribute to dissemination, including academic publications. Proficiency in Italian is required. Assets include familiarity with social movements literature, experience in qualitative fieldwork (interviews and/or focus groups), and competence with qualitative data analysis software (MAXQDA); familiarity with quantitative analysis software is also desirable.
