Description
The Research assignment, funded by Chips Joint Undertaking within the framework of the financing Horizon Europe – JU Innovation Actions, concerns the performance of the research activity specified as follows:- Analyze stability methods to address the main dynamic issues related to grid-connected power electronic converters- Develop control algorithms to reduce such interactions- Develop innovative algorithms for Grid-Forming converters- Verification using simulation tools, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), and prototypes

The assignment will be awarded based on the evaluation of expressions of interest received by the Research Supervisor Prof. Paolo Magnone according to the criteria indicated below:- Knowledge of and/or experience in the stability analysis of grid-connected power electronic converters.- Knowledge of and/or experience in using EMT (Electromagnetic Transient) numerical simulation tools for the analysis of power electronic converters and their dynamic interactions.
